Our Advanced Pyrolysis Systems

At E-FICIENT, we leverage cutting-edge electrochemical conversion technology to transform various waste streams into maximum energy, producing high-end, pure products with exceptional mobility.

Our proprietary technologies stand apart from anything currently available in the market. Our systems achieve superior conversion efficiency with significantly reduced energy consumption, ensuring substantial net energy recovery from a diverse range of waste streams.

Revolutionary Electrochemical Pyrolysis Reactors

Our patented electrochemical pyrolysis reactors are a game-changer, diverging from traditional systems that rely on indirect heating. Instead, our reactors utilize a low-voltage, high-ampere transformer power train system to deliver energy directly through the auger shaft and blades. This method generates a combined joule and plasma effect, creating localized heat within the waste atoms that exceeds 20,000°C. The system dynamically adjusts energy delivery to maintain optimal reactor temperatures and residence times, adapting to the specific characteristics of the waste stream.

Tailored Flexibility for Diverse Applications

End-of-life tires

For tire recycling, our systems employ gentler joule energy delivery to ensure controlled rubber decomposition, with precise temperature management along the reactor length. We also incorporate a pre-oxidative stage, followed by an electric field plasma reactor for nanoparticle generation, and an electrochemical cleaning stage. The result is a unique nano-recovered carbon black with exceptionally high carbon content and excellent conductivity.

Plastics and Medical Waste

In these systems, we maximize energy delivery to achieve the highest possible local temperatures for complete waste destruction. Our proprietary gas cleaning and conditioning stages, based on carbon capture and utilization technology, including selective electrochemical synthesis stages, ensure the production of clean energy. The system features an ultrasonic de-absorption stage, field fusion reactors with selective catalysts, and a low-energy hydrogen electrolyzer, all integrated into a closed-loop system. The final gas treatment can include processes like Fischer-Tropsch or ultrasonic powered electrochemical field fusion catalytic reactors to produce low-carbon Dimethyl Ether (DME), which is easily stored and transported.

Closed-Loop System and High-Quality Outputs

All our systems are designed with a closed-loop configuration, including a dedicated wastewater treatment system to manage hydrocarbon-contaminated water. Our pyrolysis technology converts waste gases into high-quality commercial end products such as synthetic natural gas (SNG), Dimethyl Ether (DME), and a small quantity of pyrolysis oil.

At E-FICIENT, we are committed to customizing your system to meet the specific needs of your waste stream, ensuring optimal performance and environmental benefits.
